Community Outreach

Journalists should play an active role in the communities they serve.  It's not enough to simply report on an issue and go home.  Outreach projects, emcee responsibilities, and speaking engagements reflect positively on our stations and make us more powerful storytellers because we have a greater understanding of the community.  Here are some examples of my projects, emcee events, community service and awards.
