Media Training

A career in journalism has afforded me the opportunity to work with public and private agencies for media training.  The Cincinnati Police Department's Media Relations Unit has invited me to teach several recruit classes how to handle journalists during critical incidents, as well as how to best work with media to better serve the public.  Officers have also invited me to teach law enforcement from jurisdictions statewide at the Ohio Crime Prevention Conference.  Additionally, I have taught firefighters and EMTs at FDIC International's annual conference and exhibition.  I am currently assisting the Child Welfare League of America with a media training workshop.
